Recycled Materials for Production

Recowa has been keeping roof waste out of landfills for years, collecting scrap EPDM roofing sheet. While these materials take time and energy to process into other forms, such as fuel oils, pellets, and powders, many manufacturers prefer to take full sheets of this EPDM material to repurpose into their own products and prefer not to pay the premiums required for more intensive processing.

Thus, we have available large stockpiles of used EPDM roof sheets ready to go. Inventory can be picked up in the Charlotte area or delivered domestically. The unprocessed EPDM rubber is typically 10 x 10 feet and palletized for easy transit. Materials can be power-washed in advance as needed.
